RAPP Introductory Information Session

  • Thursday, April 5, 2018, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

The Family and Consumer Education Program at Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County (CCEDC) will be holding Information Sessions on our Relatives as Parents Program (RAPP) support groups.

RAPP Support Groups assist those who have taken on the role as primary caregiver for a related child. Approximately 2,000 families in Dutchess County are raising relative children.

These will be held throughout Dutchess County over the next five months to increase awareness of available resources, which include referrals to community organizations and information on financial support available to people acting as relative caregivers. These sessions are designed to introduce attendees to what RAPP can do and answer any questions about the program.

CCEDC’s Family and Consumer Education Program strives to ensure that families throughout Dutchess County find the resources and education they need to improve their lives. We invite you to contact us any time with questions or concerns by calling 845-677-8223 x 137 or emailing us at jmc646@cornell.edu
