Cornell Cooperative Extension of Dutchess County is moving programs, events, and meetings online!

Our staff will be communicating with program participants and partners to discuss options, such as the online education model, that will allow us to continue programming and best serve our community during this time. Please visit our events page for the most up-to-date information regarding specific events. You may call or email us at any time and we will return your call as quickly as possible. Our number is (845) 677-8223 and you can email us at dutchess@cornell.edu

Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) prioritizes the health, safety, and well-being of the communities we serve. Even if you are not concerned about your own health, we ask that you be mindful of your neighbors who may be stressed by the situation and worried about loved ones. Taking action now through social distancing to limit contact with one another may seem like extraordinary measures, but this strategy mitigates the spread of the virus and reduces the burden on our healthcare system as seen in the graph attached.

The COVID-19 outbreak is a rapidly evolving situation and CCE is committed to providing resources that will help keep our communities resilient through tough times. We will continuously update our events webpage at ccedutchess.org/events so you can stay informed about the status of each event.

Before attending public spaces, please ask yourself these three questions:

  1. Have you traveled internationally in the last 14 days?
  2. Have you been in contact with someone who has traveled in the last 14 days?
  3. Do you feel ill or have a fever?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, please stay home and contact your healthcare provider. In addition, Dutchess County has provided resources to help you.
