The CCEDC Environment and Energy Program GIS Lab provides technical assistance, outreach, training, data, hardware and software access, and services to municipal leaders, members of watershed organizations, research and academic institutions, and residents of Dutchess County using GIS to inform local conservation and planning. Providing GIS technical assistance, training, and mentoring, to municipal leaders, members of watershed organizations, research and academic institutions, and residents engaged in using GIS to inform local conservation and planning.

The GIS Lab also has a fee-for-service program for custom GIS maps and analysis, GIS data requests, and map printing.

What is GIS?

A geographic information system (GIS) integrates hardware, software, and data for capturing, managing, analyzing, and displaying all forms of geographically referenced information.
