Please join us for this 2-hour hands-on training session focused on biodiversity in Dutchess County, and municipal strategies for conserving and protecting the natural resources in our communities. The training will highlight the many tools and resources available to help promote biodiversity locally, and will focus strongly on intermunicipal cooperation. Attendees will gain insight into the value of and threats to biodiversity, how to identify and inventory natural resource priorities, and how to develop plans, codes and ordinances aimed at biodiversity conservation. This program was developed by Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County, in partnership with Dutchess County and Hudsonia, and with support from the NYSDEC Hudson River Estuary Program
