ALTERNATIVE ENERGY HEATING forum - For residents and small businesses

Presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Dutchess County. (Snow date Dec. 15th)

This forum will present information on alternative heating systems that are becoming increasingly common - both to reduce heating bills and move toward renewable fuels. Topics include: Passive solar, solar hot water, solar panels, geothermal heat, air-source heat pumps, pellet stoves, home energy audits, insulating and air-sealing, and incentive programs such as through NYSERDA and Solarize Hudson Valley.

Speakers include: Jeff Luoma - CCE Environment and Energy Program Leader, Joseph Malcarne - Malcarne Contracting, John Tremblay - Sigma-Tremblay LLC, Hugo Jule - RUPCO representative, and Solarize Hudson Valley. Question and answer to follow presentation. Light refreshments served.

Certificates of attendance for municipal training credit will be provided.
