Rain barrels capture runoff from rooftops during storms to use later to water your lawn or garden. Using a rain barrel can help save money on water bills, conserve water, and manage stormwater runoff. At this hands-on workshop, we will provide a 55-gallon food-grade plastic barrel and all the materials you need to build your own! Register for one of four different time slots.
This workshop is FREE and open to the public. Click here to view the flyer!
Spaces for each time slot are limited, so be sure to register early! Contact Angela Sullivan at (845) 677-8223 ext.114 or acs26@cornell.edu.
This workshop is offered by the Poughkeepsie Water Treatment Facility in collaboration with Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County.
