Clean-Up Poughkeepsie

The No Child Left Inside Program is working with Middle Main, Hudson River Housing, and the Environmental Cooperative to host an Earth Day Clean Up event in Poughkeepsie! The clean-up will be at Murphy Park, 517 Main Street by the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory. Litter bags and gloves will be provided.

As part of this event, the Environmental Cooperative will be organizing creek cleanups at three different locations in Poughkeepsie: the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory, Malcolm X Park, and Brookside Avenue / Verrazano Boulevard. We will be picking up trash on the streets and in the creek at each location so wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and shoes that can get wet. A number of rubber waders will be provided.
