Master Gardeners Speakers Bureau

Master Gardener Volunteers offer lectures on a wide array of subjects for gardeners. 

Favorite topics include: Container Gardening; Gardening with Children; Composting; Vegetable Gardening; Small Space Gardens; Herbs; Recycling; Pruning; Putting the Garden to Bed in Fall; Native Species; Invasive Species. Additional topics can be prepared to meet a particular group’s needs or interests. 

The Master Gardeners are avid gardeners who have received extensive training through Cornell Cooperative Extension.

The talks are 45 minutes in duration, followed by 10-15 minutes for questions from the group. 

A fee of $100 per speaker is paid to CCE, Community Horticulture, in support of ongoing community outreach. 

Checks may be made payable to “Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County” and mailed to our office in advance to: 2715 Route 44, Suite 1, Millbrook, NY 12545.
