Are you a farmer curious about opening your farm to visitors? Or perhaps you’re already offering agritourism experiences and want to grow your reach and impact?
The Cornell Cooperative Extension Agritourism Program Work Team, in partnership with CCE Dutchess, Orange, and Ulster Counties, invites you to a hands-on educational and networking session designed to support the growth of agritourism across the Hudson Valley.
This event will be especially valuable for livestock farmers and those interested in incorporating animals into agritourism experiences. Held at Clover Brooke Farm—a working farm known for its llama, alpaca, donkey, and goat programs—participants will gain practical insight into creating safe, engaging, and marketable farm experiences for visitors. Topics include animal care, customer service, visitor safety, and strategies for agritourism promotion.
Event Highlights:
This session is ideal for farmers across all sectors—livestock, produce, flowers, farm stays, and more—who are interested in developing or enhancing agritourism ventures.
Registration is just $10, and includes light refreshments, the full program, and the farm tour.
