For over 111 years, Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County (CCEDC) has been a cornerstone of our community—delivering essential programs in agriculture, nutrition, youth development, and environmental sustainability. Our Green Teen initiative fosters youth leadership and environmental stewardship, while Flourishing Farmers prepares youth of all abilities for adult life by teaching them agricultural vocational skills and life skills. Through No Child Left Inside (NCLI), kids connect with nature, building resilience and curiosity, and Relatives As Parents Program (RAPP) provides lifelines for kinship caregivers raising children. Our Master Gardener volunteers beautify neighborhoods and promote sustainable practices, and Energy Advisors help families reduce costs and carbon footprints. These programs thrive because of staff passion, volunteer dedication, and community generosity—but as funding dwindles, their future is at risk.
Yet today, maintaining these services is harder than ever. What keeps CCEDC strong? The unwavering dedication of staff, volunteers, and the generosity of people like you. Every direct contribution—whether time, advocacy, or financial support—fuels this vital work.
Will you help ensure the next 111 years of impact? Donate, volunteer, or speak out today. Together, we can preserve and grow the programs that make Dutchess County thrive by Growing Forward together.
