Free Home Energy Efficiency Workshops

Save Energy Save Dollars.

Looking for simple ways to lower your energy bills and make your home more comfortable? The Save Energy Save Dollars workshops are free, interactive sessions available upon request for libraries, community groups, faith groups, and other local organizations. Participants will learn practical, easy to understand strategies to reduce home energy costs, including:

• How insulation improves comfort and lowers heating and cooling expenses
• What a home energy assessment is and how it can help identify savings opportunities
• Common electrical panel and box upgrades that improve safety and efficiency
• Programs and incentives available for both low income and market rate households

Each attendee receives a free energy saving kit to take home, designed to support do it yourself improvements such as:

• Door sweep
• Pipe insulation
• Foam spray and air sealing materials
• Other simple tools to reduce drafts and wasted energy
