In 2015, first CCEDC created draft "Town Agricultural Profiles" for each of the 20 towns in Dutchess County. These profiles contain information on the state of agriculture in each of the individual communities throughout the county, including statistics on the amount of farmland in each town, the types of farming enterprises present and in what percentage (e.g. production crops, dairy, livestock, horses, etc.), agricultural economics statistics, maps of the agricultural districts, and a short narrative.
The data in this current round of profiles is reflective of statistics up to and including 2022. A new round of these profiles will be completed annually, which will reflect the most up-to-date information and annual inclusions.
Lastly, the information is displayed on the town level. Statistics for Dutchess County's cities and villages are included in the profiles for the towns that include them (e.g. the Village of Millbrook in the Town of Washington or the City of Beacon in the Town of Fishkill, etc).
