of Dutchess County for over 100 years. Your continued participation
and support of CCEDC has made direct impact this year.

our agricultural community.

children are current or former members of Youth Leadership and Workforce
Development program.

may have received training and guidance from our family, kinship family*
and consumer education programs, enhancing your food safety and
budget-friendly nutritional choices through SNAP-Ed services.

This
year, our focus is on transportation for our Youth Leadership
Development Program! We are going GREEN this season and updating the
van that our Youth and 4-H programs need.
Green Teen empowers
urban youth to be effective community change-agents by immersing them in
the local food system. This youth development program (in Beacon and
Poughkeepsie) teaches life and work skills through hands-on experiences in
farming and gardening, health and nutrition, entrepreneurship, and
leadership.
Dutchess
County 4-H(including
Flourishing
Farmers)is a collection of programs that
provide youth Positive Youth Development strategies, such as
engaging young people in topics that interest them, empowering them to make
their own decisions, and providing challenging opportunities, result in youth
who have: Confidence, Competence, Caring, Character, and Connection.
Cooperative
Extension is an ecosystem of programming – no one
program stands alone – which is why we are uniquely connected to
best collaborate with our community. Our unique approach
fosters strong community collaboration, with impactful programs built on a
solid foundation and driven by exceptional staff utilizing Cornell
University's research-based curricula. We remain dedicated to meeting
Dutchess County's evolving needs.
