Nourish Your Neighbor

WHAT IS NOURISH YOUR NEIGHBOR?

Nourish your neighbor (NYN) is an educational food drive initiative that aims to build a community where healthier options are available for all our neighbors.

WHERE DID THIS EFFORT BEGIN?

This educational food drive initiative was originally created by the Eat Smart New York program of the Capital Region.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED WITH NYN IN THE HUDSON VALLEY?

Contact our Eat Smart New York Hudson Valley Team at (845) 344-1234.

WHEN DO I START?

You decide! Eat Smart New York will work with you, providing the resources and technical assistance you need to Nourish Your Neighbor

WHAT WILL I NEED TO DO?

Meet with one of our wonderful team members who will assess your goals, provide you with a toolkit tailored to your needs and guide you through the process.

What MATERIALS can be provided?

We will provide you with a tailored toolkit featuring some, or all, of the listed materials.  Should you require additional materials, just contact your Eat Smart New York team member.

Our food donation bags (pictured above) feature a healthy shopping list printed on the front, providing donors with a convenient on-hand list of nutritious options while they shop so they know they are truly nourishing their neighbors.
