NYS Grown & Certified Agricultural Producers Grant Program

Request for Proposals 

Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County is seeking Proposals for the New York State Grown & Certified Agricultural Producers Grant Program to provide grants of up to $50,000 to help NYS agricultural producers meet food safety standards and/or environmental certification necessary for participation in the New York State Grown & Certified (NYSG&C) program. Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County (CCEDC) invites agricultural producers from across the Mid-Hudson Valley (Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, & Westchester Counties) to submit an application for funding to assist them with the capital costs related to becoming NYS Grown & Certified. Costs may include, but not be limited to, the purchase of machinery or equipment and acquisition or construction of new buildings.

Eligible commodities include produce, dairy, eggs, shellfish, maple, beef, poultry, pork and craft beverages.
