Master Gardeners Speakers Bureau

Master Gardener Volunteers offer lectures on a wide array of subjects for gardeners.

Favorite topics include: Container Gardening; Home Composting; Vegetable Gardening; Small Space Gardens; Putting the Garden to Bed in Fall; and Native Species. We also provide talks on Invasive Species such as Jumping Worms and Spongy Moths. Additional topics can be prepared to meet a particular group’s needs or interests.

The Master Gardener volunteers are avid gardeners who have received extensive training through Cornell Cooperative Extension.

The talks are 45 minutes in duration, followed by 10-15 minutes for questions from the group.

CCEDC, Community Horticulture, receives a fee of $100 per speaker to support ongoing community outreach. If you book three talks within the same year, we offer a discounted fee of $275.00.

Checks may be made payable to “CCEDC” and mailed to our office in advance: Attention to: Community Horticulture Program Coordinator, CCEDC, 2715 Route 44, Suite 1, Millbrook, NY 12545.

To arrange for a speaker, please complete the CCEDC SPEAKERS BUREAU REQUEST FORM and return it along with your payment.
