Master Gardener Volunteers offer lectures on a wide array of subjects for gardeners.
Favorite topics include: Container Gardening; Home Composting; Small Space Gardens; and Putting Your Garden to Bed in Fall. We also provide talks on Invasive Species such as Beech Leaf Disease, Spotted Lanternfly, Jumping Worms, and Spongy Moths. Additional topics can be prepared to meet a particular group’s needs or interests.
The Master Gardener volunteers are enthusiastic gardeners who have undergone extensive training with Cornell Cooperative Extension.
Each talk lasts for 45 minutes, followed by a 10-15 minute Q&A session with the audience.
The Community Horticulture Program at CCEDC charges a fee of $100 per speaker to support ongoing community outreach. If you book three talks within the same year, we offer a discounted rate of $275.

Presentations from the Speakers' Bureau are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to book a speaker, please complete the Request Form and return it via email at least 60 days prior to your desired date.
